The five locations

One subscription link gives you Stockholm in Sweden, Zurich in Switzerland, Osaka in Japan, Rotterdam in the Netherlands and Singapore. You pick one in the client and can change it whenever you like. India is not among the locations, so no connection will give you an Indian address.

That also means services that check for an Indian address, or that tie features to India, will see a foreign location while you are connected.

What a location actually decides

The location decides which network your traffic appears to come from. It sets the country a lookup page reports and the route your packets take between your device and the open internet. It does not decide what is legal or allowed for you; local rules and each service's terms apply to you as before, and nothing about picking a location changes that.

Distance adds delay, because data needs time to travel. No speed table is published, so which location is fastest for you is something to find out by trying. Try two and compare how your own use feels. A video call and a page load react differently to distance, so judge with the thing you actually do.

Ways to pick one

  • Start with the closest region on the map to you and keep it if pages load comfortably.
  • Switch to another if one location feels slow at a certain hour, since busy times differ.
  • Choose by delay and convenience; local law still applies to you wherever the traffic exits.
  • Keep one location per task rather than switching in the middle of a payment or a login.

Reading the five names

Stockholm is in northern Europe, Rotterdam sits on the north-west coast of the continent, Zurich is in the middle of it, Osaka is in western Japan and Singapore is in South-East Asia. The names matter less than the country, since that is what a lookup page reports back. Pick for your own needs, and note that no choice here changes the rules you live under.

Where a lookup comes in

After connecting, open an address-check page. The address and region it shows should match the location you picked, and your home provider should no longer be named. If it still shows your provider, the client is not routing everything, so check its mode and reconnect.

Some sites compare your address with your account's usual place and ask for extra confirmation. That is normal and is not something a different location will fix.

Places you will not find

Countries beyond these five are not available, and we do not promise any additional ones. Do not look for a particular country's streaming catalogue or broadcast through these locations; regional restrictions are set by rights holders and can lawfully block this kind of access.

Questions

Can I use all five locations on one key?

Yes. The subscription link carries the full list, and you choose in the client.

Does a nearer location always feel faster?

Often but not always. Network load and routes matter as well, so test two and keep the better one.

Will my phone show the new country in Google?

Search and maps may use a mix of signals, including your account and device settings, not only the address.

Are more locations coming?

No new locations have been announced. The five above are what you get today.

Is the Indian address possible with any workaround?

No. We run nothing in India, and no setting or trick changes that.

Do all five carry the same traffic limits?

There is no cap on traffic on the subscription, and the same applies to every location.
