The short answer
On an iPhone you need a free client that reads VLESS links and a key from our Telegram bot. The client creates the tunnel, iOS asks you once to allow it, and a small badge in the status bar shows that it is on. The trial is 10 days, and the sections below cover each prompt you will meet on the way.
Setting up in five moves
Install a client that reads VLESS links from the App Store. Happ, Hiddify and V2Box are the ones we name; which of them you see depends on your App Store region.
Open Telegram and start the bot. Ask for the trial and it sends a personal link in about a minute.
Tap the link to copy it, switch to the client and choose to add a profile from the clipboard.
A prompt appears asking to add a VPN configuration. Accept, then approve with your face, fingerprint or passcode.
Switch the connection on. Once the tunnel is up, a little VPN icon shows in the status bar.
What the permission prompts actually mean
The "add VPN configurations" prompt is how iOS lets an app create a tunnel. It is not a request to read your photos or messages. The client still sees the traffic that goes through the tunnel, so choose one whose developer is clear about what it collects, and read the privacy label in the store listing before you press install.
Notifications and background refresh are optional. If the tunnel drops whenever you lock the screen, check that the client is allowed to stay active in the background and that low power mode is not shutting it down.
The trial and the key
There is no registration on the site. The trial costs nothing, the key is yours alone, and one link works on several devices, so an iPad or a second iPhone can use the same one. After the trial, each period is paid in the bot with cryptocurrency; cards and UPI are not accepted, and nothing renews on its own.
The free VPN apps you find by searching "free VPN iPhone setup" are a different story. An app with no visible business has to pay its bills somehow, often with ads or data about you, so read what it states about both.
A quick check once it is connected
- Open a lookup page and see that the address shown is not the one from your mobile operator or home router.
- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data and check again, because some clients reconnect slowly after a change.
- Open a page you normally visit to be sure that nothing broke, such as a banking app that dislikes unfamiliar addresses.
- Look at the status bar for the VPN badge.
A fake address is not a disguise
Changing the address that websites see can reduce simple tracking by IP. An app still recognises you as soon as you log in, and it does not remove advertising identifiers that come from the phone itself. For those, the iOS privacy settings do more than any tunnel. The server list is Stockholm, Zurich, Osaka, Rotterdam and Singapore, and there is no Indian address on offer.

Disclosure
Our own VPN is for sale, which is why this page sticks to checks you can do on your phone without trusting us: look at the permission, look at the badge, look at the address. Who answers for the facts here? A human reviewer who confirmed each claim about the service before release; AI tools only helped with the first wording. Prices are not repeated here.
Questions
Is the iPhone VPN permission dangerous?
It lets the client route traffic through a tunnel, which is how every VPN app on iOS works. The risk is the developer behind the client, so pick one you can look up.
Why does my VPN switch off when I lock the phone?
Most often the client lacks permission to run in the background, or low power mode is pausing it. Check both in Settings.
Can the same key go on my iPad?
Yes. The subscription link has no device limit, so add it to the client on each device.
Does the tunnel hide my identity from apps I log in to?
No. After login the app knows which account is yours; only the network address it sees is different.
What do I do if the App Store does not show the client I want?
Try another of the named clients first. The list on the store changes with region, so one of the three is often available.
Do I need to pay in rupees?
No. Payment in the bot is cryptocurrency only, such as USDT.
