What changes on Jio data
With the tunnel on, a Jio connection carries one encrypted stream to our server instead of separate requests to many sites. The operator can still see that you are online and how much data moves.
It cannot read which pages and apps you use inside the tunnel.
Mobile data is not Wi-Fi
On a SIM, the operator runs the network from your phone to the internet, so you cannot switch to another network the way you can with Wi-Fi. Everything passes through their equipment. That is a reason to care about what it sees, and a reason to keep the picture realistic.
The operator knows your number, your plan and your location to some extent. A tunnel does not change those. It only changes what is visible about the traffic.
Setting up on a phone using Jio data
Open the Telegram bot and get your link while you have any connection.
Install a client such as v2rayNG on Android or V2Box on iPhone.
Paste the subscription link and refresh the server list.
Pick a city from the list and tap connect. Allow the system's VPN permission when asked.
Load a page that displays your IP address and see whether it now differs from the earlier one.
What to expect and what not to expect
- The operator no longer sees the page addresses you open.
- The websites see the address of our server, not your SIM's address.
- Battery use may rise a little, because the phone does extra work to wrap traffic.
- If a client refuses to connect, try another location from the list.
- No server is in India, so Indian services may behave as if you are abroad, and we do not promise access to them from outside the country.
Why bother on a mobile network
Many people assume mobile data is private by default because nobody else is on it. That is partly true: strangers do not share your connection as they do in a cafe. But the operator, a company with its own policies, sits on the path of every request, and so does anything it passes traffic to.
A tunnel is useful here for a plain reason. It narrows what is visible in transit to one destination, and the same link can be used on a SIM and on a home router. After a change of network the client may need to reconnect, so check its status.
Some phones also switch between data and Wi-Fi on their own. If the client is set to start with the phone, you will not need to remember to turn it on.
Limits and local rules
The tunnel does not hide your mobile number from the operator, and it does not stop an app from sending your details to its maker. It does not help with a plan that has run out of data.
Rules about VPN use differ by country and change, and you answer for the law where you are and for the terms of the operator and each service. Judge the claims by checking your address before and after; this page comes from a seller. AI tools wrote the first wording of this page; a human reviewer then confirmed every service detail in it before release.
Questions
Do I need Jio-specific settings?
No. The link from the bot is the same on any network. Only the client app matters.
Will the tunnel use more data?
Wrapped traffic carries some overhead, so usage rises slightly. The subscription itself has unlimited traffic.
Does it work on 4G and on 5G?
It works over any data connection your phone has. We do not publish speed numbers for either.
Can I use the same link on Wi-Fi at home?
Yes, switching networks is fine. If the connection drops, reconnect in the client.
Should I trust the free internet tricks I see for Jio?
They rely on a plan loophole or a provider that you know nothing about. A tunnel from a service whose terms you have read is easier to judge.
Why is my address still the same?
The client may not be connected, or its permission was refused. Reopen the app and check the status.
